AO’s Sports Art Featured at Planet Comicon
AO & AOART5 are proud to announce that Planet Comicon has invited AO back again (thanks, pandemic!) to display his collection of KC sports art at the awesome 3-day Planet Comicon event held in the iconic Bartle Hall Convention Center (KCMO)on August 20-22, 2021.
AO, a KC native, says that only 8 short years ago he took the brush back into his hand and decided to give this “painting thing one more shot”. And within that time, with all the long weekends and week nights spent designing and painting, he has created quite a portfolio of outstanding and memorable paintings of such Kansas City sports icons like Sal Perez, Alex Gordon, Satchel Paige, Bo Jackson, Albert Pujols and of course the newly crowned World Champs – Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
Come Meet and Chat Sports with AO at Planet Comicon
AO will have a collection of examples of his work and one or two originals and (WIPs) works-in-progress on display at this monumental event so Chiefs and Royals fans of all ages can visit, view, purchase and chat about the work. AO will be there to discuss his process and how it works to obtain your own “AO Original” for your man-cave, woman-cave or any part of your living space.

The work will include pieces of greats like Patrick Mahomes II (KC Chiefs), Alex Gordon (KC Royals), Salvador Perez (KC Royals), Satchel Paige (KC Monorchs), and much more!
