The Capturing the Essence

This 3’x2′ acrylic on canvas piece captures that split second focus of this phenomenal major league ballplayer at bat.  It is that split second before the ball leaves the pitcher’s hand and the batter lifts that front foot to start his motion to strike the ball to knock one out of the park.
