Guess Who’s Back? Back Again- at 2026 Planet Comicon!
The AOART5 Studio is super honored to announce that for the fifth year in a row, one of your favorite KC premier sports artist and KCK native, Anthony “AO” Oropeza, will be a Guest Creator at Planet Comicon!
He will have on display and for sale both original and printed sports art as well as painting an AO Original – LIVE – at this years Planet Comicon event! AO is also thinking of drawing live comic book sketches of both comic book favorites and KC sports heroes as well! We will see what new stuff he brings to the 2026 table!

All 3 Days – Chat & Meet AO at Planet Comicon
AO will be at Planet Comicon all three days March 27 – 29 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and will have various prints from his catalog of artwork, examples of his work on easels including one or two of his originals AND he may paint and draw comic book and sports figures live as well!
